Use Buff Ride for easy campus travel

Request a ride to move efficiently across campus.

Buff Ride is CU Boulder’s app‑based, on-demand transit option operating between eight designated campus stops. Employees can request rides through the Buff Ride app or web portal for free, convenient transportation during the workday. 

After downloading the Buff Ride app from the iOS App Store or Google Play, create an account using your @colorado.edu email address. When requesting a ride, enter your location and the app will direct you to the nearest designated stop and provide walking directions. Pickup and drop-off occur only at designated Buff Ride stops. Service operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no service on holidays or during academic breaks, and is free to use. Buff Ride uses ADA‑accessible vans; riders who need mobility support can select Accessibility within the app and indicate the number and type of mobility devices being used.
