Your public sector work can be rewarded with loan forgiveness.

As a CU employee, you may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), a program that rewards college graduates who work in the public sector.

PSLF is a qualifying repayment program that rewards college graduates who work in the public sector debt relief after 120 qualifying payments. This means you can potentially lower your monthly loan payments and have your education debt erased just for working at University of Colorado.

CU provides multiple options to apply for forgiveness, including a self-directed option as well as Savi, which helps CU faculty, staff and their immediate family members determine their eligibility, understand their choices and enroll in a program.
