Faculty members can accrue 22 days of vacation a year

Vacation hours are earned based on your appointment at CU.

At CU, our employees' well-being is vital to maintain a health work environment for your you and your coworkers. That's why we offer generous vacation so you can take the time to rejuvenate and relax. This amount of vacation time starts immediately when you begin working at CU.

For faculty members, your appointment determines your vacation hours:

• Faculty members with 12-month appointments are eligible to receive up to 22 working days of paid vacation, earned at 14.67 hours a month, to enjoy some much-needed TLC.
• Nine-month faculty members with academic appointments do not accrue vacation leave.
