Life changes can come out of nowhere at times. Here at CU, faculty and staff are covered with automatic enrollment in Standard Insurance Company’s Basic Term Life Insurance policy. 

Classified staff receive $50,000 worth of coverage, and faculty and university staff receive $57,000 in life insurance. Worried about a premium? Don’t be! CU pays it, so you can focus on you and your family.

We also offer an Optional Term Life Insurance* plan with a policy maximum of up to $1 million and Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment that can be purchased. Employees are responsible for the monthly premium for either of these elections.
