Building community and fostering inclusion with Employee Affinity Groups

Employee affinity groups are voluntary, employee-led collegial groups of support, networking and professional development resources for employees who share a common identity or bond.

These groups are formed around a commitment to historically minoritized or underserved people at CU Boulder and play a critical role in cultivating workplace belonging and community.

The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has expanded its investment into CU Boulder’s employee affinity groups. Each affinity group sets out its own purpose, goals and core values – uniting employees behind a shared focus.
